"A Year Has Passed" is a photographic record of a state of mind over the course of one year. The daily recording of oneself for 365 days has created this documentation of the passage of time and of everyday emotions, often very strong ones, that escape from memory in our rush forward. And when we stop for a moment it turns out that a year has passed again.

Tomek Sikora born in 1948 in Warsaw. Photographer, son of the painter Irena and the sculptor Stanisław, father of the sculptor Mateusz. In the 1970s he worked as a photojournalist for the weekly Perspektywy and collaborated with leading Polish graphic designers to create film and theatre posters. Author of dozens of solo exhibitions around the world and 86 author publications.
