The art project Revolution consists of 12 artistic short films about the Belarusian revolution and human rights, exhibitions of repressed Belarusian artists and discussions about art. The project began its journey in 2020, when repressed director Dasha Brian and producer Maria Kruk created their first art film while still in Belarus. Unfortunately, due to political persecution, they had to leave the country and move to Warsaw. Here, they decided to continue what they had started and created a project that, through art films, talks about important events that are now taking place in their homeland, the war in Ukraine and raises the issue of attitudes towards refugees.

Every month we have premieres of new films in different galleries in Warsaw with exhibitions, installations, art discussions and the opportunity to donate to humanitarian aid for Ukraine. In relation to the war in Ukraine, the team shows through our work that Belarusians do not support Putin and have been fighting for their freedom since 2020.
