"Promenade", Natalia ZaƂuska's third solo exhibition at Le Guern, includes recent paintings prepared by the artist with the gallery interior in mind. The basis of ZaƂuska's creative process is usually the interplay of geometric forms. These are created successively in thought, on paper and during the adding of successive layers of the artist's characteristic collage. This time, going beyond the framework of her own method, the artist focused on a specific spatial inspiration.

After a period of multicoloured, double-sided paintings, Natalia ZaƂuska returns to her earlier, subdued motifs. Delicate compositions with subtle colours, also outline new paths of artistic exploration. Painting with a horizontal orientation appears, and the compositions are based on an arc or circular shapes. As carefully as the compositional arrangements of the works, the artist plans their presentation in the interior of the gallery. In the exhibition, she has also extended her artistic intervention to the gallery floor, developing a dialogue between the pictorial space and the interior.

Unlike walls, the floor in galleries and museums rarely becomes the matter of the exhibition. It is required above all to be neutral. Instead, the title of the exhibition refers to the almost ritualistic activity of walking from painting to painting, which is inherent in most art presentations. By intervening in the interior of the gallery, Natalia ZaƂuska has combined two areas. The space enclosed in the painting becomes, as it were, a reflection of the surrounding one, and vice versa. The possibility of a three-dimensional experience of painting opens up, a walk not only from to and between the paintings, but also within the arrangement composed by the artist.
