Is our identity an unattainable illusion, and does its actual autonomy consist ‘only’ the ability to discuss this identity freely? This means, among other things, that the power of art (or the artist) is not to identify with ideas but to work as freely as possible with them. Then the ephemerality of art’s intimacy can be understood and experienced transpersonally in the various individual histories or situations. This means one thing: a mutual and parallel permeation through mobile meanings and components of existence. Let us imagine a hypothetical TV studio that is recording an interview with you, to be broadcast only in the more or less near future, a fact that you are aware of. For you, what you say during your temporary presence in this studio is, undeniably, such a more or less near future. But for the future viewers this future of yours will be, at the time of viewing, their immediate present, even if this has not yet happened. This means that in your vision of the future you must not reveal to the viewer in their present that they are already your past. They are the future that has already been. The prototype of timelessness, nothing terrible is happening (Timelessness Time = Nothing Actually Happens...). This is just our authentic unattainable identity.
