Przemysław Jasielski
Born in 1970 in Poznań. Studied drawing in the atelier of Jarosław Kozłowski and sculpture in the atelier of Jan Berdyszak at the State College of Fine Arts (PWSSP) in Poznań (1989-1994), majoring in sculpture and drawing in 1994. Conducting his research using quasi-scientific methods developed on the basis of physics, acoustics, optics, Jasielski has participated in numerous group exhibitions and his one-man shows have taken place at institutions in Poland (Potocka Gallery in Cracow, BWA Białystok, ON Gallery, AT Gallery in Poznań, CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw) and abroad (Zambia, South Korea, United States, Canada). He has held artistic residencies at the Gyeonggi Creation Center, South Korea, resulting in the exhibition 'Global Warming Control Unit'; at the Tokyo Wonder Site, Japan (Paper Bridge over Stone Water); and at Lucas Artists Residency in Montalvo, California (Earthquake Control Unit).
