Marta Deskur

Born in 1962 in Cracow. Lives and works in Cracow. In 1983-1988 studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence. 1992 - artist in residence Escuela de Deseno, Altos de Chavron, Dominikana Republic. 1998 - Transfer, scholarship of the Kultursekretariat Nordrhein-Westfalden Artist in residence. 2001-02 - artist in residence Location one, New York. 2002-03 Philip Morris Kunstforderung, artist in residence Kunstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin. 2005-06 - Scholarchip Government Francais, Paris. Her works have been shown at Centre for Contemporary Art Laznia, Gdansk; Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw; Potocka Gallery, Starmach Gallery and Krzysztofory Gallery in Cracow; Polish Institute in Duesseldorf and Polish Institute in Leipzig ; 400 Gallery, Chicago and Location One Gallery in New York City.
